Meet Latisha M. Skinner
Latisha M. Skinner, the mastermind behind "Etiquette and Protocol for Generational Leaders." Latisha, who has roots in Mississippi and Illinois, is a respected etiquette and protocol specialist. She is the Founder, Owner, and Certified Etiquette Consultant of this distinguished coaching and training company that specializes in etiquette and protocol. Latisha is a graduate of the American School of Protocol®, a division of Personal Best, Incorporated.
For nearly a decade, Latisha has worked alongside a diverse range of professionals, children, and teenagers, aiding them in enhancing their personal, educational, and professional lives. Through her expertise, she fosters an understanding of social norms, cultural appropriateness, and traditional and modern manners. Latisha has orchestrated numerous special events, leading to the establishment of the "EPGL Special Occasion Coordinating Services" within the company.
Reflecting on her early experiences, Latisha revealed, “I participated in an etiquette course during my first year in college as a member of the royal court. This experience was pivotal in honing my focus on good manners and dining etiquette, skills which, in combination with those instilled by my parents, have been instrumental in fostering meaningful connections and achieving success across diverse industries.”
Beyond being an entrepreneur, Latisha has built a professional career deeply intertwined with the sciences and technology. She holds degrees and advanced certifications from esteemed institutions and has contributed almost two decades to the natural sciences and corporate America. Presently, she fulfills the role of a Scientist for the State of Mississippi. Latisha's extensive travels have cultivated her appreciation for fine dining, cooking, gardening, sports, and quality time with family and friends.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Latisha is a committed philanthropist, advocating for communities affected by food insecurity and environmental health disparities. She holds significant roles on boards that advance women, promote education, and create positive community impact. Latisha also founded The Ae Structure, a charitable organization inspired by her late grandmothers and niece (Lela Mae Brown, Effie Mae Skinner, and niece Ariana Miyae Farley). The Ae Structure hosts an empowering networking event, The Succulent Brunch, which aims to support women to thrive.
