The Experience That Changed My Life

My journey with etiquette began during my early college years, when I had the opportunity to participate in an etiquette course while serving as a campus Miss on the Royal Court.

At the time, I didn't realize how much that experience would influence the woman and professional I would become. What I learned went far beyond which fork to use or how to navigate a formal setting. I learned about confidence, communication, connection, awareness, and the importance of how you present yourself.

Those lessons stayed with me. Etiquette became more than something I learned. It became something I lived.

Sometimes, one lesson can change your confidence.

Sometimes, one experience can open a door.

And sometimes, learning how to show up differently can change what happens when you walk through that door.

Why EPGLeaders

Years later, those early lessons became the foundation for Etiquette and Protocol for Generational Leaders, LLC (EPGLeaders). I created EPGLeaders because I believe people should not have to learn the unwritten rules of professional, social, and organizational environments through trial and error.

I know because I experienced it. Today, I create those experiences for others - bringing together etiquette, protocol, leadership, communication, and professional presence in ways that are practical, relevant, and meaningful across generations.

A Multifaceted Professional Perspective

My professional journey has taken me across environmental and clinical science, technology and telecommunications, corporate America, professional development, and leadership.

As an HBCU graduate with advanced education and professional certifications, including certification as an Etiquette & Protocol Consultant through the American School of Protocol®, I bring a perspective shaped by diverse professional experiences, leadership, and a lifelong commitment to service.

These experiences have taught me that how we communicate, how we carry ourselves, how we navigate different environments, and how we interact with others can influence far more than a first impression. They can influence confidence, relationships, opportunities, and leadership.

LEGACY & SERVICE

A Legacy of Service

My commitment to service extends beyond EPGLeaders. EPGLeaders offers professional experiences, services, and packages focused on etiquette, protocol, leadership, and professional development.

Separately, through 3AE Legacy Foundation-Honoring Their Legacy Through Service, an emerging charitable initiative, I dedicate select opportunities each year to giving back. Inspired by the legacy of my grandmothers, Lela Mae Brown and Effie Mae Skinner, and my niece, Ariana Miyae Farley, 3AE reflects my commitment to serving others.

I advocate for communities impacted by food insecurity and environmental health challenges, while supporting efforts that expand access to education, empower women, and strengthen communities through intentional service. Through 3AE, I provide complimentary etiquette, educational, and professional development experiences to individuals, schools, organizations, and small businesses that may not otherwise have access to these opportunities.

"For me, service is not separate from the work. It is part of the legacy."

Why It Matters

Whether I’m developing a student, preparing a professional, supporting an organization, or creating a meaningful experience, my goal is the same: To help people show up with confidence, communicate with intention, and lead well.

How You Show Up Matters

ETIQUETTE • PROTOCOL • LEADERSHIP ACROSS GENERATIONS

Begin Your Journey

There are skills people are often expected to know, but are rarely taught.

EPGLeaders exists to help bridge that gap. Through practical, engaging, and relevant experiences, we equip individuals and organizations with the skills to navigate today's academic, professional, social, and organizational environments with confidence and intention.

Essential Unwritten Skills

  • How to enter a room.
  • How to introduce yourself.
  • How to communicate professionally.
  • How to network.
  • How to navigate a dining experience.
  • How to represent an organization.
  • How to lead across generations.

CLEAR EXPECTATIONS

Why EPGLeaders?

People are often expected to understand the unwritten rules of professional and social environments, whether they were never taught them or simply need a refresher.

EPGLeaders helps make those expectations clear.

We create experiences that connect etiquette and protocol with leadership, communication, professional presence, and personal development, giving people practical skills they can use in real life.

Because how you show up matters.
